By using KOMED products and services you entrust us with your personal data. This statement describes which data we collect, how we process them and for what purposes we use them, as well as your rights associated with these data.
Collection and storage of personal data
When selling KOMED’s products and services, we will ask you for the information needed to fulfil your order and our obligations under Croatian regulations. Personal data from your orders will be used solely to carry out the purchase and occasionally to conduct customer satisfaction surveys, and we will keep them in our records in accordance with the statutory storage periods.
What personal data do we collect and on what grounds?
We collect only the data necessary to achieve the purpose for which you are entrusting us with them. We collect personal data only to fulfil our legal (statutory) obligations, take actions at your request for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling an agreement, and in order to meet all your requirements as precisely as possible.

We are obliged to warn you that in performing our activities we use partners and subcontractors for the operations we do not perform ourselves, and we disclose to them only the necessary information which can also include your personal data. For instance, the Croatian Post or courier service need to know your name and address to be able to deliver the products you have ordered. Similarly, for the purpose of charging we forward your data to the banks. To our partners and subcontractors we deliver only the personal data necessary for them to do their work, obliging them with confidentiality statements to keep and protect your personal data. We thus ensure that in such situations your privacy is protected, and that everything has been done in accordance with the legal obligations.

With regard to the protection of your rights related to the personal data you have shared with us, you can contact us in writing at our postal address or by e-mail at labor@komed.hr. We will respond to you as soon as possible. Moreover, in case of any misunderstanding, you have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.
